Tempe Conventions & Visitors Bureau

I started my Saturday with a brisk bike ride from home to Downtown Tempe.  Considering I rarely exercise, this alone was a big accomplishment.  Then I took part in the annual Autism Speaks Walk at Tempe Town Lake.  Add on the 3+ mile walk to my bike ride and you can see that I was near exhaustion. I needed food. Not just food, but good food.  We decided to try out the new Dave’s Electric Brewpub at College and 5th Street.  It is cool to have a new brewery set up shop in Tempe.  Hopefully Dave’s will catch on like wildfire in popularity.  If their food is any indication, they are here to stay.  I was hungry, to say the least, and they delivered with a tasty reuben sandwich and beer battered fries.  I refrained from beer given I was weak from the bike ride and walk and I still had to ride my bike home!  However, my co-walkers tried the brew and loved it. They know their beer!  I highly recommend the food and beer at Dave’s Electric Brewpub.  I also recommend more exercise before a 6 mile bike ride and 3 mile walk!
